Hwato Acupuncture Needles are regarded as China’s finest traditional Chinese style acupuncture needles. They are manufactured at the Suzhou Medical Appliance Factory, China’s oldest, largest and most respected manufacturer of acupuncture devices.
Manufacturing takes place at Suzhou factory, globally recognised for its exceptional quality standards and holds multiple international certifications, including approval from the TGA of Australia, FDA (USA), TÜV (Germany) and ISO accreditation. Every stage of production is carefully monitored to ensure consistency, safety and precision.
Developed with close consultation with the Chinese medical community, Hwato needles feature a refined double parabola shape (also known as pine-type) needle tip. This specialised design has been shown to provide a smoother insertion and a more comfortable needling experience for both the patient and practitioner. Consistency of the needle tip shape is achieved through a stringent polishing and angling process, ensuring reliable performance.
