Dosage
 

• 2 level metric teaspoons (6.15 g) twice daily in 150 - 200 mL water or juice, with meals
• Stir well and drink immediately
   

Warnings
 

• Contraindicated in intestinal obstruction
• Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
• Contains zinc which may be dangerous if taken in large amounts or for a long period
• Consume at least 2 hours away from ingestion of medications, including tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates (osteoporosis drugs) or thyroid hormone
• Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists for more than: 6 hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3 - 6 years, 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years
• Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet
